PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We take on as limited or as large of a role as is required to assist in developing products such as lasers, flashlights, food handling, window washing safety equipment, manufacturing tooling, recreational products, and others. Located in beautiful southern Oregon.
LASER TECHNOLOGY
As an opto-mechanical engineer, Matt has decades of hands-on experience in both the manufacturing and R&D environments. He has worked in all phases from concept to production, including technical writing and FDA regulatory & compliance.
In the R&D environment, Matt has designed lasers for use in; bio-instrumentation, metrology, particle counting, medical & industrial alignment, etc. He has packaged visible and infrared laser diodes into tiny modules as well as more high-performing stabilized light engines, incorporating design elements for beam-shaping, mechanical stability, ESD protection, and thermal management.
Matt began his technology career in the manufacturing arena, and thus honors his roots by incorporating 'design for manufacturing' principles with new product development.
ILLUMINATION
Matt has worked to develop high power illumination products (a.k.a. flashlights) along with both hand-held or mountable visible and infrared laser aimers & illuminators.
Matt is a designer at heart. With nearly 30-years’ experience in the technology industry, we are delighted to help with your new invention that will make our lives better, or simply help you work on a hobby project. Utilizing sophisticated CAD software like Solidworks and AutoCad, we can help turn your idea into reality. We work in the 3D modelling environment, producing two-dimensional drawings as well as files for 3D printers (stl, iges, step, etc.)
